A slightly different perspective.

A slightly different观点, the successful election of Trump at the end of 2023 indeed brought a peak to the cryptocurrency market, but this peak ended in 2024. Trump did not bring any real benefits to the crypto industry; rather, it was his stubbornness that led to a major market crash.

For example, the trade war in 2024, or rather the tariff war, caused both the stock market and cryptocurrency to nearly plummet to madness. It was at that time that TACO gradually emerged. 2025 was initially quite good, but then this guy inflated again and provoked Iran.

If we just focus on the cryptocurrency field, Trump's previous promises did not come true much. The only thing was that there were SEC and CFTC along with a bunch of friendly officials in the White House, which is true, but these people did not actually make any contributions. It's precisely because Trump treated cryptocurrency as a cash cow that led to dissatisfaction from many within not only the Democratic Party but also the Republican Party.

Then he also said to make the U.S. have the lowest electricity prices to suit mining, but now many Bitcoin mines in the U.S. have changed to AI, leading to a continuous decline in America's computing power.

Of course, regarding strategic reserves, it is true that the U.S. has not sold bitcoin:native in these two years, that's a fact. However, this is not the main reason why many companies use Bitcoin as a strategic base. The main reason is still that $MSTR is too simple, and the entire DAT has caught fire. As a result, there aren't many that can survive; those that are surviving well are also not many.

As for the Democratic Party, it is said that they are not good for cryptocurrency, but it was during the Democratic era that both futures and spot ETFs were approved. The main reason the Democratic Party shifted from supporting cryptocurrency to opposing it is mainly due to FTX. After Trump's administration, the Democratic Party has become much friendlier towards cryptocurrency, and many Democrats agree with the stablecoin legislation.

From my personal perspective, the biggest benefit brought by Trump is just his mouth; he dares to say anything, but very few things can be fully implemented. The bad part is also because of this mouth; there's no gatekeeping at all. Moving forward, whether it's Vance or the governor, whoever becomes president will likely be better than Trump.

Trump is very likely the most supportive president of cryptocurrency to date, but he is also the one who brought the greatest disaster to the cryptocurrency market, and it's still his whole family that has eliminated so much liquidity on-chain.
