Friends who like to trade options are in luck! 🧐

In the past, options were particularly unfriendly to novice players; just understanding the various parameters could deter 90% of people. But #OKX has just launched "Simple Options," which instantly streamlines the experience. It not only supports tokenized stocks but even simplifies the underlying complex parameters, providing tailored strategies based on your needs!

How exactly does this work? Let's explore four types of strategies! Don’t bother memorizing hardcore concepts like exercise price or premium; just operate according to your actual needs:

1️⃣ Want to chase a rising market but afraid of a sudden drop? 👉 Buy a call

Suitable scenario: You are strongly optimistic about a particular stock but don't want to bear the crash risk of purchasing the underlying asset directly.

You can spend a small "deposit" to lock in a future buying price. If the price goes up, you make a lot of money; if it goes down, your maximum loss is just this deposit, capping your risk.

2️⃣ Holding stocks but worried about a market correction? 👉 Buy a put

Suitable scenario: You want to short-sell, or you wish to hedge your stock holdings.

Buy insurance for your stock position. No matter how bad the drop, you have the right to sell the stock at an agreed price, locking in profits.

3️⃣ Can’t make money from stocks and want to earn some interest? 👉 Sell a call

Suitable scenario: You have existing positions and think the stock is likely to move sideways or rise slowly in the short term.

Rent your stocks out like houses and earn regular "rent" (premium). As long as the price doesn't spike, this interest is safely in your pocket.

4️⃣ Want to buy at the bottom but think it's too expensive now? 👉 Sell a put

Suitable scenario: You have a target stock in mind and want to wait until it drops to your desired price before buying.

Place a low-price buy order, and you can earn a "listing reward" (premium) during the order period. If the price drops, you can naturally buy at the bottom; if it doesn’t drop, you still earn some interest.

Recently, since I got caught in Google’s stock, my strategy has been to sell calls on $GOOGL while also selling puts on Google, settling into a range, continuously earning premiums to cover some losses!
