Every year, the League of Legends World Championship attracts a large number of players to return to the arena.
This year's League of Legends S16 World Championship (Worlds 2026) is becoming the focus of attention in the esports community. From the Play-ins to the Swiss rounds, knockout stages, and ultimately the finals, the entire event will last through multiple phases.
During this time, players are focused not only on who will be the final champion.
- Which team is in better shape?
- Which player might become a key figure?
- Which playstyle is more suited for the current version?
These discussions are part of the viewing experience of the World Championship.
For many veteran players, predicting winners while watching matches is part of the enjoyment.
This year, the Binance wallet launched the "Legendary Assembly" event, further extending this idea of “judgment during the match”: users can participate in predictions based on the results of the S16 World Championship and compete for rewards based on their accumulated points.
In simple terms, it gives you an additional way to participate beyond just watching the matches.
If you are not familiar with the League of Legends World Championship, you can understand it this way
League of Legends (LOL) is a 5V5 team competitive game.
Two teams each send 5 players and aim to destroy the opposing team’s base through hero selection, resource contention, and team cooperation to secure victory.
Compared to regular game matches, professional esports competitions test team strategy and on-the-fly decision-making even more.
The outcome of a match is often influenced by multiple factors:
- Is the current version suitable for a particular team;
- What is the recent form of the players;
- Is there a counterplay style between the teams;
- Are the on-site decisions accurate.
Thus, many viewers form their own judgments while watching matches:
- “Why does this team have an advantage?”
- “Is this lineup suitable for the current version?”
- “Which team is more likely to win this match?”
These analyses are the foundation of the prediction gameplay.

Each match phase allows you to choose a team to support.
If the team you support wins, you can earn additional points.

What are the rewards?
The event has set up personal leaderboards and team leaderboards.
The personal leaderboard is ranked based on different stages, with top-ranking users having the chance to win physical rewards including the iPhone 18 Pro Max, PS5 Pro, RTX 5080, and rewards in USDT.
The team leaderboard accumulates points throughout the entire event period, with top-ranking teams being able to participate in the distribution of a reward pool of 150,000 USDT.
It is important to note that the final rewards depend on the points ranking, and participating in the event does not guarantee receiving rewards.
Why is this type of gameplay worth understanding?
For veteran players:
Many people discuss with their friends while watching the World Championship:
