Bitcoin just erased an $86 billion paper wipeout for US spot ETF investors.

With BTC near $86,000, the average buyer is back above the roughly $81,722 cost basis for the first time since January. But ETF demand is still lagging the price recovery, with cumulative inflows about $6 billion below their 2025 peak.
