A gathering in Shanghai about computing power, applications, and the next wave of AI opportunities
Creating an AI demo over a weekend is no longer difficult, but why are there still so few products that are continuously used and for which users are willing to pay?
As model capabilities gradually converge and calling costs continue to decline, the problem faced by AI Builders is shifting from "Can it be done?" to "Why will users choose you?" Where do a product’s long-term barriers truly come from—data, scenarios, workflows, user relationships, or brand and distribution? When model suppliers raise prices, limit regions, or adjust rules, how should applications maintain stable operations?
On September 21, the "2026 AI Builders Day Shanghai Station," initiated by 6Block and co-hosted by Techub News and Miuro.ai, will take place at the Guotou Building in Shanghai. The event is expected to gather around 100 developers, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry partners to collectively explore how AI can transition from technological capabilities to real products, covering computing power infrastructure, model calling, investment research, video, and music creation.
When models are no longer scarce, where are the opportunities for Builders?
The event's closing roundtable will revolve around the theme "The end of AI—When models are no longer scarce, where are the opportunities for AI Builders?" The discussion will focus on the real choices faced by every Builder:
- If there are only three people, a limited budget, and six months of time, should one focus on models, computing power, agents, tools, or vertical applications?
- Why are there more and more AI demos, but truly finding product-market fit and obtaining continuous payments for products is still limited?
- When confronted with closed-source models, open-source models, self-built deployments, and multi-model APIs, how should developers choose infrastructure?
- When everyone is using the same model, where is the real barrier for the product?
- If AGI arrives earlier than expected, what capabilities and assets should be accumulated today?
This discussion does not attempt to provide a unified answer, but rather hopes to help AI Builders see the directions truly worth investing in for the next stage through different perspectives from infrastructure, products, content creation, and ecosystems.
From computing power foundation to specific applications
Several thematic sharing sessions before the roundtable will also provide concrete practical samples for these questions.
Gonka.ai core contributors will deliver a keynote speech sharing practices and observations from the open AI computing power network; GonkaRouter.io's technical leader will introduce the collaboration and invocation of multi-model capabilities under the topic "One API, assemble your AI expert team"; Uweb AI team’s hands-on mentor will share through real cases how to build a personal investment research system using AI.
In the area of content creation, the Craftale AI team will break down the complete process from creativity to finished short film around "New paradigms of AI video creation: from spark of inspiration to completed short film"; the CTO of Miuro.ai will share how AI reconstructs music creation, global distribution, and value circulation.
Confirmed attendees also include SentientAGI APAC Lead Anita, President of Hoshino University and AI content creator Hoshino, Monad Greater China Ecosystem Lead, Billions Network APAC Lead, among others.
In addition to the agenda speakers, dozens of AI and Web3 researchers, entrepreneurs, and ecosystem builders will also be present, including Haotian, DeFi Teddy, Jingle Bell No. 1, Wang Xiaolou, Laughing, Zisu, Neal, and Shawn Pang, engaging with AI Builders on computing power, agents, product implementation, and growth.
Media and community support includes OpenSchool, Foresight News, Block Rhythm, Deep Tide, PANews, Odaily, Deep Inquiry Community, OpenBuild, Fudan University Blockchain Association, East China University of Political Science and Law Blockchain Association, TinTinLand, and NODE-X, among others.
There will also be Q&A, lucky draws, tea breaks, and free networking sessions on-site, with prizes including Xiaomi AI glasses, AI reasoning, video and music creation token gift packs, tickets to Wanxiang Blockchain Week and TOKEN2049 main venue, etc.
