Balancer is proposing an orderly shutdown after failing to revive revenue following last year’s $128 million exploit.

The protocol once held more than $3 billion in TVL. Today it has about $58 million, with BAL holders set to vote Sept. 25–29 on winding down operations and distributing the remaining treasury.
