I have set up a "black swan event" monitoring system (Figure 1), mainly doing three things:

Monitoring accounts of security agencies like PeckShield and CertiK

AI determines whether new posts are related to security risk warnings

If judged as yes, automatically trigger alerts

1/ The stronger the wind and waves, the more expensive the fish

Ethereum experienced The DAO hacker incident;

Binance was hacked for about 7000 BTC in 2019;

Solana also suffered a huge impact in 2022 due to its deep ties with FTX.

But these projects ultimately held on.

A recent example is @KiiChainio.

On the 23rd of last month, KiiChain encountered a cybersecurity incident, and $KII briefly fell to $0.011.

However, currently, $KII has rebounded to around $0.077, with market sentiment and prices showing significant recovery.

2/ But not all black swans are worth bottom-fishing

Not all projects that experience a crisis can survive; Luna and FTX are contrary examples.

Taking KiiChain as an example, a project can recover from a crisis event only if it meets several conditions.

First, crisis management must be quick and transparent

After confirming the issue originated from a vulnerability in the Cosmos EVM module, KiiChain immediately paused network operations to prevent the risk from spreading further.

From identifying the problem, locating the vulnerability, to completing the fix and restoring the network, the entire process took only 5 days.

More crucially, there were no losses of user funds in this incident.

Second, use real business to restore trust

Technical fixes are just the first step.

KiiChain did not stop at fixing the vulnerabilities during the crisis but continued to promote ecological cooperation.

▌Cooperated with Tron to explore round-the-clock foreign exchange trading

▌Selected as the underlying settlement partner for the Colombian state-owned Agricultural Bank and the digital platform Merke Plaza

Latin America is one of the most important remittance regions in the world, with substantial capital flow and strong rigid demand. This market is not short of participants; what is truly lacking is a set of credible, low-cost, compliant, quick, and deeply localized cross-border infrastructure.

KiiChain's foreign exchange layer precisely addresses this need.

Data shows that KiiChain has currently processed a cumulative transaction amount exceeding $500 million, serving 200 enterprise clients, and has over 360,000 registered users.

3/ Conclusion

My strategy has already begun to operate.

I hope to seize more opportunities like $KII in the future.
