In the past week, the Meme sector has been exceptionally hot, with high enthusiasm in discussions across various communities, along with a notable increase in profit-sharing posts.

In the previous article, Odaily Planet Daily summarized the key targets worth paying attention to on the Robinhood Chain (for more content, please read: Don’t just sit idly on the chain, which targets on Robinhood Chain have second entry opportunities?), and a week later, several projects have shown outstanding performance and are worth continuing to watch:

  • PONS has reached a maximum increase of 125% (from $440 million to $990 million), currently reported at $700 million;
  • AI has reached a maximum increase of 72% (from $250 million to $430 million), currently reported at $230 million;
  • BONER has reached a maximum increase of 67% (from $53 million to $89 million), currently reported at $63 million.

However, this round of Meme popularity has not been limited to the Robinhood Chain. Last weekend, BNB Chain and Solana also saw a surge in short-term market caps, with highly discussed Meme coins. This article will take a look at the current popular projects in each ecosystem that have high community discussion and a market cap exceeding $10 million.

Extension of Robinhood Chain Ecosystem

CASHCAT

According to GMGN data, CASHCAT's market cap peaked above $320 million, currently falling back to $190 million.

CASHCAT is the earliest trending cat-themed Meme coin on the Robinhood Chain, and its name comes from the name "Cash Cat" used in the early stages of Robinhood. The project resurrected a former name abandoned by a brokerage, transforming it into a cat holding cash, and thus naturally binds to the brand history of Robinhood.

As Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev interacts with relevant content on social platforms, CASHCAT has further been regarded by the community as the "unofficial mascot" of the Robinhood Chain.

MEME

According to GMGN data, MEME's market cap fell below $30 million last week, subsequently skyrocketing to $170 million, currently retreating to $125 million.

MEME is an AMC-themed Meme coin on the Robinhood Chain, paired with the AMC stock token launched by Robinhood. AMC itself was one of the most representative Meme stocks in the "retail investors vs. Wall Street" battle in 2021; recently, AMC CEO Adam Aron publicly questioned Robinhood's issuance of AMC stock tokens without company authorization and demanded a halt to trading, which brought substantial attention to MEME amidst the controversy.

SHROOM

According to GMGN data, SHROOM's market cap peaked at around $60,000 last weekend and currently retreated to $28 million.

SHROOM is a mushroom-themed Meme coin issued through Pons, also positioned by the project as a stock token liquidity network.

The project utilizes its own funds to create a trading pool consisting of SHROOM and stock tokens like NVDA, MSFT, GOOGL, SPY, AMD, and TSLA, reinvesting transaction fees back into liquidity, and surplus income will be used for buying back and destroying SHROOM. Moreover, holders can regularly receive MU stock token rewards distributed by Pons.

BNB Chain Ecosystem

MarsCoin

According to GMGN data, influenced by the launch of MarsCoin spot trading on Binance on September 4, MarsCoin's market cap skyrocketed from $100 million to $265 million in a short period, currently falling back to $150 million.

MarsCoin is a Mars-themed Meme coin issued through Flap, named after Elon Musk's casual remark in 2021, “There will definitely be a MarsCoin.” The project personifies the human longing for the red star, repeatedly imagining colonization, yet unable to truly embark on the journey, into a coin that has already arrived on Mars; the community spreads the sentiment with "To Mars and beyond." MarsCoin was initially just a meme launch based on a tweet that has not been fulfilled for five years, launched without a team or roadmap, and not even pairing with stablecoins, subsequently taken over and continuously operated by the community.

Moreover, trader BonkGuy believes that market trends are further shifting towards BNB Chain, and MARSCOIN has already become the leader in the BNB Meme/stock narrative.

Hakimi

According to GMGN data, influenced by the launch of Hakimi futures on Binance on September 6, Hakimi's market cap surged from $16 million to $90 million in a short period, currently falling back to $50 million.

Hakimi is a cat-themed Meme coin issued through Four.meme, and its name comes from the Japanese word “はちみー” (honey) as a homophone, which was later adapted by the Chinese internet to refer to cats and all cute things. The project personifies a brainwashing lyric, a cat, and the semantic drift of “everything can be Hakimi,” into a cat that has already lost its original meaning, only remaining in a magical cycle; the community spreads the narrative of “from a lyric to a cat to all cats and all things.”

Niu Lai

According to GMGN data, Niu Lai's market cap has risen above $140 million, currently retreating to $81 million.

Niu Lai is a film-themed Meme coin issued through Flap, named after the low-budget animated film "Niu Lai," which sounds just like "the bull market is coming." The project personifies a film with a stunning poster but terrible actual content, and a box office that initially failed but then became popular online due to its abstractness, into an increasingly ugly bull; the community spreads the narrative of “It’s okay to be hated; being ignored is the real tragedy.”

Stonks

According to GMGN data, Stonks' market cap has risen above $19 million, currently retreating to $6 million.

Stonks is a stock-themed Meme coin issued through Four.meme, with the underlying asset being the tokenized US stock QQQB, named after the classic meme of the misspelled word "Stocks." The project personifies the expression of knowing you will lose while pretending to understand when looking at charts on Wall Street, into a golden coin that always smiles; the community spreads the narratives “Born From the Stonks” and “Whatever the market brings, the smile remains.”

Solana Ecosystem

USELESS

According to GMGN data, USELESS's market cap peaked above $320 million last weekend, currently retreating to $230 million.

USELESS is an anti-utility themed Meme coin issued through LetsBONK, the name derives from its most straightforward definition of itself: useless. The project personifies the cycle of making promises in the crypto space, failing to fulfill them, and then pretending to still be developing, into a coin that acknowledges from the start that it does nothing; the community spreads the phrase “Zero utility, zero roadmap, zero apologies.”

Recently, trader Bonk Guy stated on platform X that USELESS, MARSCOIN, and PONS have the potential to become the fastest projects in their respective niche markets to reach a market cap of $1 billion in the next cycle.

STONK

According to GMGN data, STONK's market cap peaked above $180 million last weekend, currently retreating to $130 million.

STONK is a stock-themed Meme coin issued through StonkFun, named after the classic meme of the misspelled word "Stocks." The project personifies the mentality of trading tokenized US stocks on-chain while still using memes to look at the market, into a platform coin launched from its own launchpad; the community spreads the narratives about coin-stock pairing and diamond-handed airdrops.

STONK was launched in August along with StonkFun, initially with limited market attention. In early September, with StonkFun integrating Raydium LaunchLab, the platform continuously repurchasing STONK, and the interactions from Raydium, Solana officials, and co-founder Toly, the trading heat for STONK rapidly increased. On September 6, its market cap briefly surpassed $100 million, becoming the first Meme coin paired with stock on Solana to exceed a market cap of $100 million.

ZCAT

According to GMGN data, ZCAT's market cap peaked above $180 million last weekend, currently retreating to $130 million.

ZCAT is a cat-themed Meme coin issued through StonkFun, named after Zcash’s privacy symbol Z, combined with an anonymous cat with its head stuck in a paper bag. The project personifies the mentality of wanting to speculate while attaching to a narrative of privacy, into holding a cat and earning ZEC; the community spreads the phrase “hold Meme, earn ZEC.”

Furthermore, every ZCAT transaction incurs a 3% tax, which is mainly used to purchase ZEC, automatically airdropped according to holding proportions to eligible holders, without the need for staking or claiming.
