How hot has Fomo been recently?
On one side, there are frequent profit screenshots appearing on social platforms, with profit amounts often reaching hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars; on August 31, the official Fomo newsletter even stated that the platform leaderboard featured a trader whose PnL reached 10 million dollars. On the other side, many KOLs have started to intensely share their Fomo invitation codes, directing their followers straight to the platform.
As trading on Robinhood Chain heats up, a battle for user and order flow entry has quickly unfolded, with Fomo being one of the platforms showing the most noticeable growth.
A Dune dashboard created by Adam Tehc has specifically set up a section called "Trading Bot Wars." On August 31, GMGN accounted for approximately 43.6% of the trading volume on Robinhood Chain, while Fomo accounted for about 35.6%, summing to approximately 79.2%. This percentage is based on trading terminal volume metrics, but it indicates that Fomo has become one of the primary trading entry points on Robinhood Chain.

Fomo dominates Robinhood Chain trading
Fomo originally focused on Solana as its main market, but its trading structure is changing along with current trends.
The Dune dashboard created by Adam Tehc shows that in late May 2026, the daily trading volume on Fomo mainly came from Solana and Base; by early July, Solana contributed nearly ninety percent at one point. As it began to support Robinhood Chain and with the rising trading heat on that chain, the platform's trading focus shifted again.
On August 31, on Fomo, Robinhood Chain accounted for about 75% of Fomo's daily trading volume, Solana about 20%, BNB Chain about 3.4%, and Base about 1%. This is an approximate ratio read from the latest bar chart intervals, and the daily percentages will change with market trends, so they cannot be understood as long-term fixed shares.

The number of active traders is also growing synchronously. From March to May 2026, Fomo had only a few thousand daily active traders; in early June, it was still less than 10,000, but began rising rapidly afterwards. By late August, the daily active traders had been over 80,000 to 100,000 for several days, peaking over 100,000, which is at least an order of magnitude higher than early June.
This round of growth is also reflected in the overall business data disclosed by Fomo. In November 2025, I had organized this product in an article titled Gold Mining Manual: Why Top VCs Focus on Fomo?. At that time, Fomo disclosed that it had over 120,000 users and about 35,000 traders; as of then, its cumulative trading volume was only 850 million dollars.
On August 31, 2026, Fomo announced that its total user count had surpassed 1.9 million, with over 1.2 million users active in August, and the platform adding more than 30,000 new users daily.
Its monthly trading volume rose from 500 million dollars in June to 1.5 billion dollars in July, a 200% month-over-month increase, expanding to three times the original; Fomo at that time predicted that August's trading volume would exceed 2.8 billion dollars, an increase of at least about 87% compared to July.
Fomo also estimated that its monthly revenue in August would be around 17 million dollars, corresponding to an annualized revenue level exceeding 200 million dollars.
Why are invitation codes trending?
KOLs concentrating on sharing Fomo invitation codes are not just doing so spontaneously. Surrounding user growth and social trading, Fomo has already built three interconnected mechanisms: Clans, Trader Rewards, and Referral bonuses.
First is the Referral bonus. According to Fomo's official information released on June 2, 2026, when new users register through a referral code, the referrer can receive 25% of the trading fees generated by that user. At that time, Fomo announced that it had cumulatively paid out over 2 million dollars in referral fees to users.
Next is Trader Rewards, which rewards those who "facilitate the dissemination of trading viewpoints." According to Fomo’s introduction released on August 28, users can share their trading views or investment logic on the platform; if this content drives other users to trade, the creator can receive real-time rewards. However, Fomo has not publicly disclosed the specific calculation formulas, reward ratios, or applicable trading ranges in that post, so it should not be simply understood as a fixed percentage rebate.
Clans further transform individual trading into team activities, focusing on team trading. Users can only join one Clan at a time, can enter the team through invitations, and can display their Clan on their personal homepage.
From spot trading to Perps, Fomo is more than just a mobile trading app
Fomo's ability to capitalize on hotspots across different chains is related to its product design. Users can access multiple blockchains through the same account and balance without having to handle network switching, cross-chain, and preparation of different Gas assets on their own. Leaderboards, trading dynamics, and quick buys streamline the pathway from asset discovery to transaction completion.
In the past few months, Fomo has also added features such as Web, professional charts, perpetual contracts, and team competition functionality. As of late August 2026, data disclosed by Fomo indicated that the web platform now accounts for about 25% of total trading volume.
In June, Fomo launched Fomo Perps. This product is supported at the backend by Hyperliquid and TradeXYZ, covering perpetual contracts related to crypto assets, stocks, pre-IPO companies, indices, and commodities, providing functionalities such as long and short trades, leverage, isolated margin, and stop-loss and take-profit orders.
Perps have not been separated from the existing social features. Related positions will also be integrated into user homepages and dynamic information feeds, allowing users to see when other traders establish positions.
Nineteen-year-old entrepreneur achieves eight-figure exit, Fomo acquires Mobula's core technology
As the number of daily active traders surged from thousands to over 100,000, while having to manage multiple networks such as Solana, Robinhood Chain, and BNB Chain, Fomo faces pressure from on-chain data.
After a new token appears, the application needs to identify its contract address, name, and associated network, continuously read data such as transactions, liquidity, prices, holder addresses, and wallet behavior, and organize the raw records from different blockchains into data that users can understand.
Mobula provides exactly this kind of infrastructure. Its public documents show that Mobula's data products cover token prices and market data, wallet assets and transaction records, token metadata, position profit and loss, and real-time data streams, which are provided to other applications via APIs and other means.
On August 31, Fomo announced the acquisition of proprietary software and intellectual property developed by Mobula. According to Axios quoting Fomo CEO Paul Erlanger, the deal was valued at 17 million dollars, although Fomo's formal announcement did not disclose the amount.
Mobula founder Sacha Marcus, co-founder and CTO Sacha Delhoux, and infrastructure head Cyril Conan will join Fomo's engineering team. A noteworthy detail of this transaction is that Sacha Delhoux was only 19 years old at the time of the deal.
He subsequently reflected on his entrepreneurial experience in a post on X titled "How I sold my company for an eight-figure price at 19." He attributed Mobula's development to a smaller yet highly technical team, the long-accumulated trust among B2B clients, and product differences in data latency, stability, and service responsiveness that can be directly perceived by clients.
The scope of the transaction needs to be accurately delineated. Fomo's formal announcement confirms that it is acquiring the software and intellectual property developed by Mobula and absorbing some core members.
Conclusion
Fomo is no longer just a mobile application that simplifies trading steps; it is gradually forming a product system that encompasses asset discovery, social dissemination, creator distribution, trading entry, and data support.
As the operational threshold for on-chain trading continues to lower, the competition among consumer-grade applications has shifted from "Can we complete the transaction?" to "Who can simultaneously master users, distribution, and data?"
