After the Drift, KelpDAO/LayerZero, and COLDCARD wallet exploits, PeckShield ranked the incident as the fourth biggest cryptocurrency theft of 2026 thus far. The bulk of the impacted funds remained trapped within the ecosystem, with only about $6 million reportedly bridged away before Cronos paused its chain.
