Many friends ask me if I am going to bet on SK Hynix's financial report on Wednesday, but that's not the case.

I wrote yesterday that unless it's the weekend, I don't carry positions overnight because who knows what will happen the next morning, so I would rather earn a little less than gamble on what will happen "the next day."

Let alone that Wednesday morning is SK Hynix's financial report; currently, I see the data report should be good. I have previously shared the data on South Korean exports, with chip exports increasing by 180.6% year-on-year and computer-related products growing by nearly 232%.

So I personally think SK Hynix's financial report should be good, but the financial report is not the only factor affecting the price. I have been writing for about three weeks that South Korea is in a high-leverage state, and it is mostly retail investors. What’s more critical is that with the decline of the Korean stock market, we have now entered the phase of deleveraging.

Therefore, even if SK Hynix's financial report is good, we still need to understand the pace of deleveraging. How much can a good financial report bring in, and how much of that is due to leverage? Thus, tomorrow, regardless of whether it rises or falls, as long as SK Hynix's financial report exceeds market expectations, I will take a break for a day and say we will talk about it again after the earnings report date.

Unless the financial report is below market expectations, I would short, otherwise my personal inclination tomorrow is to do nothing.
