10U War God talks about how I traded SK Hynix and Hynix ADR — First time adding positions

This should be the last post before takeoff; it will be early morning when I get home.

When I woke up in the morning, I first saw that the Korean stock market opened unfavorably, and the semiconductor sector had already started to decline. This was expected; when the market closed yesterday, ADR fell more than 13%. Whether it is the reduction of premium or the sell-off triggered by the Korean market, it is very likely to drive SK down, but I did not short SK immediately in the morning.

Instead, I decided to watch a little longer. Facing consecutive declines, I wondered if the Korean stock market would take any new actions. By the time the Hong Kong stock market opened, the semiconductor sector was also declining. Therefore, my prediction was that tonight when the ADR opened, it would likely continue to decline. So, I directly opened a short position on SKHYUSDT at the $155 level.

So far, SKHYUSDT is at $147.2. Unless ADR reverses and rises tonight, this decline is likely to continue until Monday. After all, historically, ADR stocks are still affected by the underlying stocks.

If there is a significant and substantial rebound in ADR tonight, I should close my position as the current profit is already quite good.
