The AI computing network governed by the community brings native GNK support to the Tangem wallet and launches a co-branded hardware wallet during its exhibition at WebX Asia.
Tokyo, July 14, 2026 —— The efficient AI computing decentralized network Gonka announced today that its native token GNK is now officially supported by Tangem wallet, providing network participants with an easy self-custody method to hold, send, and receive GNK.
Tangem users can now securely manage GNK on the Gonka native network while also managing packaged GNK on Ethereum. This integration allows Gonka hosts, developers, and community members to hold, send, and receive GNK while fully controlling their private keys.
GNK is the native token of the Gonka network, in which GPU owners contribute computing resources for AI workloads and are rewarded based on the verified amount of computation. Developers can obtain distributed computing resources through the network without relying on centralized cloud service providers.
“Gonka is built around direct participation: GPU operators contribute real computing power, developers use those resources, and the network coordinates the entire process through GNK,” said Daniil and David Liberman, co-founders of the Gonka protocol. “The support of native GNK by Tangem provides participants with a practical way to manage tokens while maintaining control over their assets without resorting to centralized intermediaries.”
Tangem combines a mobile app with NFC-enabled hardware wallets, including cards and rings. Private keys are generated and stored in the secure chip of the wallet, and transactions are managed through the Tangem app by authorizing via bringing the hardware wallet close to a NFC-enabled smartphone.

To commemorate this collaboration, Tangem and Gonka have launched a limited edition co-branded Tangem wallet in black and white colors. Some wallets will be available at the Gonka booth for partners and key opinion leaders (KOL) during WebX 2026 held in Tokyo from July 13 to 14, 2026. Currently, the latest version of the Tangem app (iOS and Android) supports native GNK.
