Waking up, the sky has fallen.
The plan was to stay up late, how did I fall asleep first?
Perfectly missed $VEX.
But it's useless to complain, let's talk about why VEX suddenly caused FOMO.
It hit the direction most easily hyped by the market for Robinhood:
Agent.
Robinhood's official does not have the words "Agent Chain" welded into the chain name.
But it simultaneously positions Robinhood Chain as an AI-native RWA chain while opening Agentic Trading and MCP, allowing AI Agents to access accounts and trade on behalf of users with budgets.
In simpler terms:
RWA gives assets to Agents.
Robinhood gives accounts and users to Agents.
Virtuals gives issuance and financing to Agents.
Robinhood Chain gives them a track on the chain.
Other chains are still letting Agents tweet.
Robinhood is already ready to let Agents manage money.
The place where VEX is best positioned is here.
It is not just another AI avatar that talks nonsense, but a trading Agent running locally:
The model is responsible for thinking,
the security rules are responsible for blocking,
the logs are responsible for providing evidence,
the private keys remain on the user's own computer.
In simple terms, others have given Agents a mouth.
VEX has equipped Agents with fuses and a dashcam.
Plus, with yesterday's direct interaction from the Virtuals official, Matcha also listed VEX among the popular trading projects on the Robinhood chain, the market immediately began to speculate:
"Could this be the first leading project of the Robinhood Agent chain?"
And that’s how FOMO came about.
Not everyone suddenly understood the code overnight.
They just saw the ecosystem official directing the spotlight towards the same direction.
However, having a product doesn't mean the coin price receives a golden ticket to survive.
VEX currently has a market value of about 11.65 million dollars, with main pool liquidity of only about 410,000 dollars, yet the 24-hour trading volume is nearly 8.59 million dollars.
It runs very fast, but throwing people off will also hurt.
The official website also states that transaction fees will be used to repurchase VEX, but real users, real income, and real repurchases still need to be verified.
So in the future, don't just stare at the K-lines.
What you really need to watch is:
Whether Robinhood can continue to expand the Agent ecosystem;
Whether VEX can generate real trading and income;
Whether there will be more Agent projects taking over, turning a one-day FOMO into a main storyline.
My judgment is:
Robinhood may seem to be building an RWA chain on the surface, but what may actually allow it to break out is the Agent.
Putting assets on the chain is just moving goods into a warehouse.
When Agents begin to manage money for people, that warehouse will truly be open 24 hours.
I missed the first big bullish line of VEX.
But the narrative of the Robinhood Agent may just be getting started.
