Recently, it is clear that many friends who have invested in ethereum:native cannot sit still!

I will answer this question;

First, the uncertainty of Ethereum is definitely more, and much greater than Bitcoin. The advantage of Bitcoin is its certainty; what certainty can you compare with it?

Secondly, what is the biggest value of Ethereum?

It is that its upper limit imagination is greater. The narratives currently seen, future on-chain finance, stablecoins, RWA, settlement networks, are all related to Ethereum.

Currently, the biggest problem with Ethereum is: users are in L2. Profits are with Sequencer. Cash flow is with Coinbase/Base, App, CEX, DeFi protocols. Security and consensus are with Ethereum. But ETH itself only bears underlying collateral and fee consumption; the value capture is not strong enough.

So personally, I think BTC is more like the foundational asset of my crypto holdings, while ETH is more like an offensive position. I will have both, but right now, if I have to heavily invest, I will only choose Bitcoin. My current position in Ethereum at most will be to stop selling, but under the current structure remaining unchanged, it is very difficult to buy more.
