The size of the amount is not that important; what matters is that after continued action, a person's awareness gradually changes.

Seeing Nina say that she started donating during a low point in her life, I also began in a similar way many years ago.

In 2014, during my first bankruptcy, I took my guitar and drank two bottles of alcohol to cope with the awkwardness and started singing on the streets. I wasn't very good at singing, but people did give me money; I could make two to three hundred in a night.

By chance, I encountered a charity organization, and I began to combine street singing with charity, later donating to a pair of children during one of my life's low points.

I must say that after helping many people, besides donating money, I also provided regular companionship. When I sang to them during visits and chatted, my mood improved significantly, and the gloominess faded away, quickly welcoming a new dawn.

So sometimes when we say that good people get rewarded, it’s not just an empty saying, nor is it luck from the heavens, but rather the start of your positive energy. How could a person full of energy have such bad luck?

Therefore, regardless of whether money is plenty or scarce, earning money is not just for having more; it can also give you more options and the ability to help others more.

"Leeway," the name of our community, originally carries this meaning:

Leaving leeway for yourself, and also leaving some leeway for others.
