After buying Bitcoin at $62,000 on Friday, I sold half at $64,000, unsure if it will be completed on Monday. Actually, it is a pretty good price to buy at. Recently, some continuous negative news mostly comes from $STRC. Although I don't like STRC and am not interested in its business model, and I don't have a cent invested, I still have to say that selling Bitcoin due to concerns about STRC's decline is logically incorrect.
In the last 24 hours, I wrote a lot about the relationship between MSTR, STRC, and Bitcoin, mainly because I've seen too many friends misunderstanding. Some friends believe that STRC's decline will lead to MSTR not having enough funds to pay dividends, forcing them to sell Bitcoin to finance. The biggest misconception in this viewpoint is ATM; the largest source of interest for STRC currently is ATM, and MSTR's biggest funding source for buying Bitcoin is also ATM.
Moreover, these ATMs have all been approved. Last week, MSTR made an ATM for $200 million, and currently, MSTR's mNAV is still greater than 1, indicating that the current ATM issue is not significant, so there is naturally no need to worry about STRC's interest, not to mention MSTR still has $1.1 billion in cash.
Additionally, some friends say that a decline in STRC's price will lead to MSTR being sued and having to pay damages. This is also incorrect; the main reason MSTR paid damages in 2000 was due to financial issues, and now the lawsuit is preparing to accuse MSTR of fraud, which is not easy at all.
Finally, some friends compare MSTR and STRC to LUNA and UST, which is even more absurd. It can't be said there is no relationship at all, but it should be stated that there is absolutely no relation; they are completely different systems.
From my personal point of view, if it is merely due to emotional panic, then after the panic ends, a rebound will naturally occur, and the impact of pure emotions will be self-corrected by the market.
