I thought that after taking the first step, I could just go with the flow, but when I entered the "practical mainline tasks," it directly made me, a rookie in the crypto world, break out in a sweat! However, the deposit was just the prelude; the next two core tasks truly made me experience what "heart racing" felt like in the crypto world.
🔑 Task One: Authorizing API for AiCoin, Finding a 'Smart Steward' for Assets
With some chips in hand, staring at the densely packed, continuously flashing numbers on the exchange's native interface, my head was buzzing. As a heavy tool-dependent user, I heeded the veteran's advice and decided to use the market and trading tool ——AiCoin as my main battlefield.
To connect Binance and AiCoin, I had to pass through a seemingly high-tech barrier: API authorization.
Upon hearing the words "API" and "key," my heart skipped a beat. Fortunately, following the step-by-step tutorial provided by AiCoin's customer service assistant, I discovered it was actually just making a connection between the two platforms:
1. Find "API Management" in Binance, create an API, and label it "For AiCoin."
2. After entering the password and Google verification code, the system generated a long API Key and Secret Key (key).
3. Finally, scan and authorize these two strings of keys into AiCoin, and voilà!
Opening AiCoin at the moment of seeing my assets transformed from boring numbers into a clear asset summary chart felt great. Watching my assets being managed neatly by this "smart steward" gave me the illusion of becoming a "major institution," and the sense of superiority was overwhelming.
📉 Task Two: The Journey of My First Trade — Flustered, and After Cancelling the Order, I Surprisingly Bought High?!
The "steward" is ready, and the next is the climax of the whole story——my first trade.
Since I am an extremely cautious person, looking at the thrilling ups and downs of Bitcoin's price fluctuations, I ultimately decided to contribute my "first experience" in a stable coin swap with minimal volatility: using my USDT to buy USDC. I thought, after all, both are pegged to the dollar at 1:1, so there is essentially no risk of a price crash, making it quite suitable for practicing "to save my life."
Excited, I opened the trading interface on AiCoin, and at that moment, there was a slight, extremely minimal fluctuation in price. My brain started calculating: "Since it's a limit order, can I set it a tiny bit lower to save some money?"
So, I ambitiously entered: buying 10 U, at a price just a tad lower than the current price. Clicked to place the order!

After successfully placing the order, 10 U did not turn into USDC but instead became a "current pending order" quietly lying at the bottom. The red and green numbers on the interface continued to flash wildly, while my order seemed forgotten by the world, remaining utterly still. One minute, two minutes, five minutes passed... and the price next to me not only didn't drop, but surprisingly started to rise!
I became flustered: "Oh no, why isn’t it executed? Why did it run away? Did I set the price too low? Is this ride not going to take me?! "
After waiting a while, seeing the price keep rising, I panicked completely. Fearing I wouldn't even be able to get on the most stable stable coin ride, I grit my teeth and, with trembling fingers, clicked [Cancel Order]!
"No way, I've come this far, the first order task must be accomplished!" I decided to increase the stakes to enhance the sense of ceremony; this time, not buying 10 U, but directly changing it to 15 U!
Due to the earlier cancellation and my indecision wasting time, the price had now risen to a local short-term peak. In order to "get on board" immediately, I couldn't care less about the little difference in price and hastily pressed the current high price and resubmitted the limit order for 15 U.
With a "swipe," this order was executed instantly!
Looking at the spot position finally showing 15 USDC, I slumped onto the sofa, my palms sweaty. Looking back at the trading candlestick chart, goodness, my earlier cancellation followed by the new order was perfectly executed at the peak of a small rebound — I, a complete newcomer to the crypto world, managed to accomplish what veterans often call "buying at a high position" in my very first stable coin trade!
Although it was just a stable coin, which does not affect asset value, the journey of "being flustered and anxious, causing me to stumble at the peak" truly made me deeply understand what "one minute in the crypto world is equivalent to a year of hard work in human terms" really means.
