According to Al Jazeera's report, the situation in Lebanon escalated today. It began with Israeli airstrikes in the south and a mandatory evacuation order issued for 29 towns and villages, most of which are located in the Nabatiyeh area, but also in Sidon and far beyond the so-called blue line, which is a part of southern Lebanon that Israel has long tried to control and occupy.

Today, the entire Lebanon is filled with a sense of tension, as people here understand that the moment of agreement between the U.S. and Iran, or indeed after the signing of the agreement, is often a dangerous moment for the situation in Lebanon. They are almost worried about the complete occurrence of a scenario where there would be an Israeli strike, this provocation could subsequently trigger a response from Iran, thus jeopardizing the entire process.

Al Jazeera stated that the prospects for these negotiations between the U.S. and Iran are now somewhat unclear, as signals from the Iranian side suggest that this red line will indeed bring a response.
