I discovered a very interesting misalignment phenomenon!🧐

Institutions like BlackRock and Franklin have indeed moved assets onto the chain with real money, the #RWA market has nearly quintupled in 18 months, as shown in the picture below.

But when I asked my friends involved in crypto, how many have actually invested in these institutional-level assets? Almost none!

It's not that they don't want to buy, it's simply that they can't get in.

The barriers are high, liquidity is poor, and redemptions have to wait for a window period; at least KYC filters out 90% of people.

So the problem with RWA and DeFi now is not the lack of good assets on-chain, but the absence of an entry point that allows ordinary people to participate.

Recently, I've been observing what #GRVT is doing, which is addressing this gap.

Its logic is very simple: our money is kept in the account, indirectly penetrating into investments in RWA issued by institutions like BlackRock, earning more than 3.5% base returns.

The key is that this money can also be used as collateral to open positions without needing to transfer back and forth.

There is no redemption window period, internal market makers provide liquidity, and you can withdraw anytime.

I’ve talked to Hong a few times, and he said GRVT isn’t trying to become a larger contract exchange, but rather to create a self-custody version of Robinhood combined with institutional-level yield accounts.

I personally think this direction is correct; bridging the issuance of institutional assets and the entry of retail investors creates an opportunity for whoever builds this bridge to become a new entry point for on-chain wealth management.

Especially now that BTC is declining, people primarily hold stablecoins and are looking for a reliable yield outlet; the demand is indeed real.
