I want to predict a hand:

In the next 15 years, the stablecoin infrastructure sector is very likely to produce a top 10 company on the US stock market.

It could be Coinbase, it could be Circle, or it could be some unknown company that hasn’t shown its head yet, uncertain!

Because looking back at the past hundred years of the US stock market, one interesting pattern can be found: the leadership of industries changes hands approximately every 15-20 years——

📍1926-1970s: Oil, telecommunications, and automobiles dominated everything, with no technology companies in the top 10, all were industrial giants. The entire S&P 500 totaled about $2.7 trillion.

📍1996: Technology peeked for the first time, the PC revolution began, and Intel and Microsoft entered the top five for the first time.

📍2006: The peak of finance + energy.

📍2010: The technology era officially commenced, the smartphone era exploded, and tech giants like Apple, Google, Amazon, and Meta gradually took over the market.

📍2018: Technology completely dominated, and Apple became the first trillion-dollar company in history.

📍2025: AI began to rise, and the landscape has fully transformed into technology stocks + AI-related entities, with multiple AI-related companies waiting to go public with trillion-dollar valuations.

So the question arises:

If there is another industrial-level power shift in the future, where will it occur?

I think the answer might really lie in stablecoins, let’s look at a few data points——

1) By 2025, stablecoin trading volume will reach $33 trillion, exceeding the sum of Visa and PayPal;

2) Tether has about 200 employees, generating $13 billion in profits in 2025, surpassing Goldman Sachs;

3) The circulation of USDC reached $75.3 billion, with a year-on-year growth of about 72%;

4) 60% of the top 25 banks in the US have begun to lay out cryptocurrency businesses;

5) Wall Street predicts that by 2030, the stablecoin market will reach at least $2 trillion.

Stablecoins hold the next generation of the global currency network and have a real chance to enter the top 10 of the US stock market.
