This morning, the blockchain game supported by the Arbitrum Foundation, The Beacon, commonly known in the Chinese region as "Lighthouse," announced the official launch of Season 1 on the X platform, with a total prize pool of 7.7 million BCN. Below, Odaily Star Daily brings you a step-by-step participation tutorial and game strategy based on our first-hand experience.

Step-by-Step Participation Tutorial

STEP 1. Enter the game interface (link: https://app.thebeacon.gg/season-one), click "Sign in" to log in with your Web3 wallet.

STEP 2. For a better gaming experience, you need to download the game from the EPIC store (you can also try it on the web now).

STEP 3. Click "PLAY" to enter the game; use "W, S, A, D" to move your character "up, down, left, right."

Additionally, you can purchase the "Game Starter Pack" for $19.9, which includes 2000 Spark Coins and premium chests as rewards.

Game Strategy

For the Lighthouse Season 1, the current participation methods are shown in the picture below, which will be analyzed in detail below.

Operation Guide

Currently, there are only two routes available in Lighthouse Season 1. The first, is to continue upwards on the main game page, which leads to the "Dungeon," where you can grind dungeons to obtain Shadow Fragments and exchange them for Shadow Chests.

Each entry into the dungeon costs 20 energy (the user's initial energy is 100 points). Weapons can be chosen from a bow and a dagger; challenge the game to earn Shadow Fragments.

The second route is to go right on the main game page, which leads to Kraken Klash, where you bet on which square will land randomly. If you guess correctly, you earn Goblin Tokens (the NPCs in Kraken Klash can be exchanged for Shadow Fragments, Goblin Tokens, and Spark Coins).

Chests and Rewards

The rewards of Season 1 are divided into Cosmetics and BCN Tokens. For free players, cosmetics are bound to their accounts; for advanced players, cosmetics are NFTs that players can access by purchasing the "Game Starter Pack."

Furthermore, chests are the main items for obtaining rewards in the first season, including three types of chests, specifically:

1. Shadow Chests: obtained by collecting Shadow Fragments, the chests contain cosmetics and a small amount of BCN token rewards.

The Shadow Chests include a free version and an advanced version. In the free version, the normal level of Shadow Chests has a probability of 59.06%; rare level 30.94%; epic level 8.00%; and legendary level 2.00%, with 1 to 3 cosmetics dropping.

In the advanced version, the chest level probabilities and cosmetic drop numbers are the same, but you additionally receive BCN tokens: 65% chance to get 0 BCN; 25% chance to get 1 BCN; 9% chance to get 5 BCN; 1% chance to get 30 BCN.

2. Kraken Chests: obtained by collecting Goblin Coins, the chests contain exclusive cosmetics and a large amount of BCN token rewards.

The Kraken Chests include a free version and an advanced version. In the free version, the normal level of Kraken Chests has a probability of 37%; rare level 44%; epic level 13%; legendary level 6%, with 3 cosmetics dropping.

In the advanced version, the chest level probabilities and cosmetic drop numbers are the same, but you additionally get BCN tokens: 37% chance to get 5 BCN; 30% chance to get 10 BCN; 22% chance to get 21 BCN; 8.5% chance to get 50 BCN; 2.5% chance to get 210 BCN.

3. Glint Chests: obtained by collecting Spark Coins, the chests contain exclusive cosmetics and a large amount of BCN token rewards.

The Glint Chests only have an advanced version, with a normal level probability of 37%; rare level 44%; epic level 13%; legendary level 6%, with 3 cosmetics dropping. Additionally, there is a 48% chance to get 4 BCN; 30% chance to get 7 BCN; 15% chance to get 12 BCN; 6% chance to get 30 BCN; 1% chance to get 100 BCN.

Overall, there are 4 types of tokens in the game: Shadow Fragments, Goblin Coins, Spark Coins, and BCN Tokens. A stable way to earn is to grind dungeons for Shadow Fragments to exchange for Shadow Chests; participating in Kraken Klash is a "luck-based" game and requires spending Goblin Coins (Goblin Coins can be obtained through Shadow Fragments). Winning allows you to earn more Goblin Coins, while losing results in the loss of your capital, with no guarantee.
