Every day is a limit reversal. Just when there was a discussion across the internet about ending the war memorandum, Al Jazeera's correspondent in Tehran, Resul Serdar Atas, stated that, according to sources, current negotiations with the United States are only focused on the Strait of Hormuz stage, and discussions on nuclear issues will not take place at this stage.
The source stated, "They say everything else is fabricated, all misleading media reports. They currently do not confirm that they are negotiating on nuclear issues, regional security policy, relations with allies, or Iran's missile program. They indicated that these topics are not what is being discussed at present and have been excluded."
He said Iran proposed a three-phase plan, with the first 30 days solely focused on how to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. If an agreement is reached, nuclear negotiations may be initiated, followed by regional security dialogues with neighboring countries.
If this is true, it seems my sixth sense from yesterday was correct. Both sides are being forced into phased negotiations due to the blockade; the U.S. faces high domestic oil prices, while Iran cannot export oil due to the blockade. Nonetheless, it is a good thing if the Strait of Hormuz can be resolved first.
Currently, WTI oil prices have temporarily fallen below $90, faster than I expected. Although there may be uncertainties in the news, the Strait of Hormuz is most likely the issue to be resolved at this stage.
Continue to short WTI, with an initial target price of $85.
