In an interview with Fox News, Trump said that if Iran attacks U.S. vessels executing Project Freedom in the Strait of Hormuz, they will be erased from the surface of the Earth.

Trump expressed that he believes Iran has become more manageable in negotiations and emphasized that the U.S. military buildup in the region is ongoing.
