The Iranian military claims to have prevented U.S. Navy warships from entering the Strait of Hormuz

The Iranian military stated that its naval forces had decisively and swiftly warned U.S. warships not to enter the Strait of Hormuz. After a U.S. Navy vessel ignored stop warnings, it was hit by two missiles near the nearby island of Jasak.

Earlier, Trump stated that he initiated the operation called Project Freedom at the request of nations trapped in the strait, to escort their vessels safely out of these confined waterways.

Currently, WTI oil prices are rapidly rebounding, and the market is concerned about a rekindling of war between the U.S. and Iran.
