The Korean War was initiated by North Korea:

The Japanese Kwantung Army had three Korean divisions, which were very powerful in combat. Due to the mistakes of Chiang Kai-shek and Chen Cheng, who refused to accept the surrender of these three divisions, they were incorporated by Lin Biao. These three divisions became the main force of the 4th Field Army, and they were responsible for the Heishan and Tashan counterattacks, severely defeating Chiang Kai-shek's American-style troops!

In 1949, after the founding of New China, these three Korean divisions that were originally from the Kwantung Army strongly requested to return to their country. Chairman Mao took advantage of the situation and handed them over to Kim Il-sung. Meanwhile, the Soviet Union had to withdraw the tanks and artillery they had used to combat the Japanese Kwantung Army back to the Soviet Union after World War II, which was too costly, and also sent them to Kim Il-sung;

With these troops and equipment, Kim Il-sung instantly gained military superiority over South Korea. Thus, on June 25, 1950, Kim Il-sung ordered the North Korean army to cross the 38th parallel and launch a surprise attack on South Korea, marking the official outbreak of the Korean War. At one point, the South Korean army was pushed back to a corner of Busan, nearly being driven into the sea, if it were not for the United Nations' timely resolution to hastily establish UN forces, MacArthur commanded the Inchon landing, and Korea would have been unified by 1950;

Therefore, those who say it was the U.S. that bombed Northeast first are either lacking understanding or have serious cognitive issues!
