The updates are coming too fast now, are you all using Hermes? I heard it's the strongest growth assistant right now!
This thing comes in handy, my lobster has frequently been dying and I've been getting banned by Claude with no good model to replace it, I've already stopped for a week.
Just when I didn't know what to use as a substitute, it showed up.
I'll first save this tutorial below, and after installing and researching it next week, I will write a detailed experience post for everyone.
Currently, based on the information, I've heard that Hermes is much better than OpenClaw,
the core difference is: lobsters need to be nurtured, Hermes can grow on its own,
simply put, it can be understood this way:
1️⃣ Hermes: more like an iPhone → ready to use out of the box, auto-growing, extremely friendly to beginners.
2️⃣ OpenClaw: more like Linux + Docker → powerful, but requires you to tinker with it.
This means Hermes will automatically summarize experiences → generate skills → and be reused directly next time. Once this feedback loop is established, the more you use it, the better it understands you.
Hermes = "an assistant with brains,"
OpenClaw = "a very strong tool user."
Looking at it this way, I am a typical long-termist, research-driven, content output person who doesn't want to engage in inefficient tinkering, so I think I should use Hermes as my main tool.
Are there any partners who are already using it smoothly, who can give some advice to newcomers, so we can take fewer detours?
