Recently, the assignments have generally not been too difficult to write. As long as you understand the reasons for market fluctuations, it becomes easier to find corresponding solutions. What we fear the most is a situation where there is no information or any circumstances, and the market still fluctuates. The main reason for the recent market volatility is the geopolitical conflict between Iran and the United States. Although it has not yet ended, it feels like it is almost over, especially after Trump's speech tonight in which he mentioned that the U.S. is about to give Iran a "big one."
This information led to a rise in the risk market, and Bitcoin also followed suit. American oil prices and gold have shown a downward trend, indicating that the market believes the fighting should end soon, especially since Iran's supreme leader is no longer alive. However, former Treasury Secretary Yellen publicly stated today that the conflict between the U.S. and Iran may make the Federal Reserve more cautious about interest rate cuts, as the conflict could elevate U.S. inflation.
At this point, there are no obvious signs of when the war will end. Iran has not given up resistance because of the death of its supreme leader, and there are no signs of a complete agreement in negotiations. It seems that discussions will likely continue alongside the fighting, and the trajectory of the war may very well be the reason for market fluctuations.
Looking at Bitcoin's data, the exchange rate is not high, but trading volume has increased, indicating a slight uptick in investors' buying sentiment. Of course, this may be closely related to Trump's "big one." The recent market fluctuations primarily stem from geopolitical conflicts, but fundamentally they are still about inflation and monetary policy. This will depend on the coming year, and hopefully, there won't be too many unforeseen issues in the first half of the year.
Other data remains normal, and earlier investors have not shown intent to switch hands. The majority of investors are in a wait-and-see state, even those who are at a loss.
