🧐 Why was I suspended from X revenue sharing? | My earnings have dropped from 800 three months ago to now less than 500.

This month's earnings seem even lower.

I don't know if it's because I didn't post much content during the New Year, but logically, if many people were suspended from revenue sharing, it should be more, yet unexpectedly, it has decreased.

Could it be that the Crypto field is not popular anymore and everyone is focused on AI? I see many AI bloggers with high earnings this month.

Yesterday, I saw a friend say something interesting, currently, many people are posting about AI Agent Openclaw, but hardly anyone is actually making money from it, they are just spending money. If one really wants to make money with this thing, there are three paths:

First, make yourself look like you are making a lot of money by teaching courses. Second, write an article that makes others think they can earn a lot of money by reading it, monetizing traffic. Third, tell others it’s very profitable, and then help them install agents for a fee.

It’s very dark humor but very realistic.

However, I think it’s fine to make money from cognitive and informational gaps, as long as it’s reasonable, legal, and compliant, I don’t see any problem. Whenever a new industry appears, such opportunities that have a certain wealth effect and chances are expected. As long as you don’t engage in fraud and don’t exaggerate to the point of making people sick, it’s all good.

Today, the main topic is why I was suspended from earnings.

/ First, I agree with Ni Da, it's definitely not because I posted too much content that I was suspended from revenue sharing;

Posting more content is certainly not an issue, otherwise, us chatty people, with sometimes dozens of posts a day, would have died out long ago.

I feel there are four main reasons (which may not be accurate):

1️⃣ Interaction volume / AI replies

X switched to the "Verified Home Timeline Impressions" calculation model starting January 2026, only recognizing genuine organic views by Premium verified users on the homepage timeline.

The old tricks of relying on group replies, mutual boosts, and engagement pods to boost millions of views are now all identified by Grok/AI as low-quality spam, triggering a pause for "violating creator revenue sharing policies."

The crypto circle and heavily replied accounts suffer the most, with many Nigerian and Chinese users reporting this.

2️⃣ Abnormal interaction patterns + automated tools detected

It's those batch operation group controls, where, once the information is released, responses are too fast and too frequent, only interacting back and forth with a few fixed accounts, batch operations, or using third-party automated tools (including certain infofi or LB-type apps) will be flagged by the system for "platform manipulation."

Many users find that after appealing, they are instead permanently disqualified, even having their entire accounts limited or banned. The officials explicitly state: once evidence shows a rule violation, it will be paused or removed.

3️⃣ Low content quality / Repeated / Suspected spam

A large number of repeated posts, copy-pasted content, purely boosting volume without generating value, content with too many referral links and guided commissions, or touching on prohibited content (hate speech, misinformation, adult content, etc.) will directly violate regulations.

By 2026, the platform has made it clear it wants to prioritize "quality," and accounts that previously made money from high-frequency, low-quality content are now collectively affected, especially those “boosting timelines” in the Chinese circle.

4️⃣ Overall advertising revenue pool shrinking + platform actively cleaning up

X’s advertising revenue continues to decline (in some areas, it has plummeted in 2024-2025), combined with the earlier viral “paid courses teaching volume boosting” that led to a flood of low-quality content, the platform simply initiated a large-scale cleanup (similar to Elon threatening to pause bot farms in 2024).

Therefore, to have better opportunities, accounts that do not meet the new thresholds (Premium+, genuine impressions, zero violations) should be directly suspended from payments, or even permanently removed from the program, to allow for growth in the truly valuable parts.

Some users have also been affected due to connections to third-party apps or abnormal IPs.

5️⃣ Recommendations:

I think the likelihood of being banned is probably due to the reasons above, involving one or more;

Don't rush to appeal frantically (many who do end up worse), check the last 30 days of posts, mutual following, third-party authorizations, and whether you’ve used automated tools;

Disconnect unused apps; shift towards original long posts + genuine interactions, nurture the account for a while before reassessing.

If you want to appeal, use the official Help Center form and attach evidence of “false judgment,” but as it stands, the success rate is not high.

This is my objective estimation based on the feedback from many friends and the platform policies; of course, it may not be 100% accurate, but I believe it's pretty close!

If you honestly post content and seriously output, the probability of being suspended is low. If mistakenly banned, put in effort to appeal, and I think it should be possible to return.
