It's easy to look at these silver & gold charts and think:

"Wow, these charts are exponential... it can't continue!"

This is where so many investors make a common mistake...

They forget that overbought signals can stay overbought (or get even more overheated).

They forget that the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.

This is why I don't short exponential trends.

It's also why I don't try to catch falling knives.

They are the same strategic bets, in opposite directions.

And they burn investors all the same.
