The issue with ETH has never been TPS, but rather who holds the validation power | The true meaning of native DVT!
CM @cmdefi's discussion here is simply agreeable!
Vitalik's promotion of native DVT clearly aims to reshape the staking power structure of Ethereum.
1️⃣ The current ETH staking is no longer very "Ethereum spirit": single node + high threshold → funds are forced to concentrate in a few operators, such as Lido or some CEXs. This is not decentralization; it is a structural compromise.
2️⃣ What Vitalik wants to do is reduce the protocol's dependence on "soft governance centers" like Lido/exchanges, which is a political security issue.
3️⃣ For DVT protocols like SSV: in the short term, it is a negative, but in the long term, it is a positive.
Native DVT only provides "basic configuration"; what can truly charge fees and accumulate value remains the Operator market, reputation system, and compliance customization.
Just like the system has built-in Office, professional users will still use stronger tools.
4️⃣ So the conclusion is simple: in the long term, whether ETH can win does not depend on TPS, but on whether the distribution of power can remain consistent over time. Native DVT is a price that a network must pay to survive longer.
