Many of my friends who are familiar with me know that my approach to following others is quite simple. Basically, I will follow anyone who interacts with me frequently. For me, the decision to follow someone does not primarily depend on the content or their reach; the most important factor is interaction. Effective interaction is also key to my growth.
Secondly, when I come across good articles, I will share and follow them. Whether or not someone follows me is not important; I generally follow the authors of articles that I read from start to finish. If I resonate with the content, I will leave a comment or share it. However, it is true that recently, the content in the Chinese-speaking community has become somewhat "utilitarian."
Making money by writing tweets on X is very difficult in the Chinese market. It is essentially at the bottom of the scoring system. If the registration location is Hong Kong, it becomes even more challenging. It may be possible to scrape by, but truly wanting to get rich through posting is not easy.
On the contrary, being able to produce more excellent content may lead to faster and better growth. The path of wanting to become a "KOL" or a content creator purely for utilitarian reasons is not an easy one.
