The market is never buying interest rate cuts, but rather the moment when the expectations of interest rate cuts are re-priced.

Last night's rise should mainly come from the predictions of a rate cut in December, and secondly from Trump's clear "cooling" signals regarding China policy (you can check Trump's tweets yourself).

Therefore, the market is not pricing in a rate cut in December, nor is it pricing in geopolitical factors, but rather it is pricing in the liquidity turning point of 2025.
