I saw @CryptoSociety42 Link's tweet, and I did conduct some research back then, and the results are here. It's very difficult for the Chinese-speaking community to earn advertising revenue on X, mainly because there are too few ads, and now the ads are often region-specific. The Chinese-speaking area happens to be one of the "least popular" regions for X. Additionally, the advertising algorithm on X is very different from that of YouTube; YouTube allows for natural exposure, while X requires targeting.
Moreover, the registration location is also a significant issue. There are many ads in the English-speaking regions, and they target a wide audience. For example, Coca-Cola's ads might target the United States, Europe, or even India. But they may not target "China" because the ROI is too low.
Therefore, if content creators in the Chinese-speaking community really want to earn advertising money on X, the preferred registration locations should be the United States, Europe, or India; even Japan and Singapore would be better than "Hong Kong."
