Before I started writing on X, I thought crypto KOLs knew much more than I did.

“If many follow this person, he must know what he is talking about.”

Now I have 150k followers and some people actually take my advice. I get DMs asking for it.

The truth is that good writing and being a good investor are two different skills.

When I write, a lot of nuance gets lost and facts can be shaped to fit a clean message.

Everyone does it because 99% of posts are OPINIONS and are subjective.

It sounds obvious, but worth remembering. I have had some great takes and some terrible ones.

I was too bullish on Ordinals and Runes. As well as Restaking, even if the airdrops were great.

That does not mean big accounts on X are not worth listening to.

Over time in crypto you develop specific skills that newcomers can learn from.

But one thing you have to learn alone is how to think for yourself.

Especially when KOLs share their buys but forget to post when they dump.
