"On the Spirit of Contracts" to those who treat integrity as a bargaining chip —

The following words,

are what I personally want to say.

Regarding those KOL rounds,

after issuing tokens,

the various acts of changing contracts, changing unlocks, changing rules,

I have a few things to say.

I only represent myself,

not pointing at anyone or any specific project,

and I’m too lazy to point at anyone.

If someone insists on taking it personally,

I will accompany them to the end.

I originally didn’t want to expose this.

Such ugliness,

I intended to bear it myself, just endure it.

However, it’s so disgusting that I can’t help but speak out!

First, let me clarify:

What I say does not point at anyone,

but refers to a type of project or a type of person,

those who treat breach of contract as breathing!

In the last cycle, KOL rounds invested a lot.

With poor token prices, most suffered losses.

We acknowledge that.

We did the work, took the risks, lost money,

gritted our teeth and swallowed it.

The appointments we made,

we must finish even if we shed tears.

But now it’s different.

With a good market, token prices rise,

when the wind is favorable, their true nature reveals itself.

Changing unlocks,

changing cycles,

changing contracts,

changing prices.

Except for @Aster_DEX who still honors the contract,

many others have turned their backs and refuse to acknowledge it.

In a word: despicable.

So despicable that I have begun to doubt the "spirit of contracts."

What are they thinking?

They think:

If it drops, it’s yours.

If it rises, it’s ours.

Enduring the crash, the surge is irrelevant.

Spirit of contracts? Ha.

It doesn’t exist.

What exists is a smiling face when they need you;

when they don’t need you, they turn their backs and abandon you,

like a rag, like mud on the sole of a shoe.

I have seen exploitation and have been exploited.

But such outrageous, concentrated exploitation,

is truly a first for me.

They set the price for you,

then complain that you’re not worth it,

and thus they cut corners in every possible way.

They don’t ask about the risks you took initially,

they don’t remember the work you did,

nor do they care about the blame you took for them.

So I ask:

How did the world become this way?

I can’t understand.

I thought "contract" was the backbone of business, the root of trust.

If even this root is rotten, what future is there to talk about?

I have been in this for eight years, and I have never breached a contract.

A contract is a contract, and I firmly abide by verbal agreements as well,

I have a clear conscience, never trapping anyone.

But now,

contracts can be torn up at will,

words can be altered at will,

just a notification, and it’s done?

Then what do we need contracts for?

What is the purpose of a contract?

Where is the trust?

Do you know what you are destroying?

If contracts are the first thing to be sold out in a bull market,

then I don’t believe

these people can do a good job with the project,

or provide any benefit to the community.

What they think about is not "fulfilling promises,"

but "how to take a bigger share."

Even the smallest matters can lead to breaches,

what talk of vision?

What talk of the future?

What talk of greatness and dreams?

Understanding is not condoning,

silence is not acquiescence.

One breach of contract, you might earn a little more.

A hundred breaches, the entire industry returns to the jungle.

It’s sad and lamentable!

I write this not to complain.

I just want to remind:

Don’t treat partners as replaceable machines,

don’t treat contracts as a game of words.

There are many smart people in the crypto circle, but few who speak reason.

Treat me as a fool, that’s fine.

Insult me, so be it.

It’s okay if I walk a little slower,

I just don’t want to,

walk with those who have no bottom line.

Do you want me to help you create a more "Twitter long post version" in a Lu Xun style?

That is, shorter paragraphs, with a more "sharp pause" at the end of sentences, suitable for formatting into a rhythmic long tweet to maximize resonance.
