The naming process began on October 14, when the content tokenization platform Trends.fun launched an event to "collect Chinese names for Solana," setting up a prize pool of 100 SOL. The event rules required participants to retweet the official post and submit their proposed Chinese names, with the best proposal receiving a reward of 66 SOL.
