Airdrop Quota
This airdrop will distribute tokens to 5,500 Monad community members and nearly 225,000 cryptocurrency community members.
The MON token has been allocated to recipients through five main paths, each with several sub-paths, detailed as follows. Individuals who qualify through multiple sub-paths are entitled to claim the total amount of tokens allocated across their sub-paths. The portal uses Privy for identity verification. You can sign messages with an EVM or Solana wallet to prove ownership of the wallet. You can also link your Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Farcaster, or email accounts. All identity verification operations are completed through Privy.
The claim period ends on November 3, 2025.
Anti-Sybil
In determining the criteria to identify deeply engaged blockchain users, Monad considered behaviors that Sybil attackers could easily replicate and instead focused on criteria that are difficult to forge. Behaviors such as repeatedly conducting low economic value transactions, which can be easily automated by bots, cannot serve as independent and effective screening criteria, as the share allocated to real users would be negligible compared to that allocated to bots.
Ultimately, Monad selected a set of criteria capable of identifying highly active users both on-chain and off-chain. On-chain, Monad focused on users' interactions with mainstream decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, particularly those requiring long-term capital commitment, as well as high-frequency DEX traders and holders of certain well-known NFT collections. Off-chain, Monad emphasized metrics related to verified social identity indicators, participation in social and educational Web3 communities, and contributions to public goods and security research. Monad invested significant effort in manual labeling and developed two applications—the Monad Community Recognizer and Monad Cards—to gather feedback from Monad community and cryptocurrency community members, integrating it into the screening process.
In the on-chain data analysis phase, the Monad Foundation commissioned a third-party organization, Trusta AI, to assist in identifying and excluding Sybil attack addresses. The third party's expertise in anti-Sybil attack allocation played a crucial role, and Monad expresses heartfelt gratitude for the assistance provided by the Trusta team.
Which On-Chain Users Are Eligible
This portion of the airdrop targets users who have historically generated significant value on EVM and Solana addresses, specifically covering various forms of priority value, including:
High-Frequency DEX Traders: Including users trading on
· Hyperliquid and Phantom wallets (spot and perpetual contracts), as well as users trading tokens issued on platforms like Pump.fun, Virtuals, and other memecoins.
· Large Depositors in Mainstream DeFi Protocols: Covering users who deposit large amounts of funds into mainstream decentralized finance protocols such as Aave, Euler, Morpho, Pendle, Lighter, Curve, PancakeSwap, and Uniswap.
· Long-Term Holders of Various NFTs: Including users holding well-known non-fungible tokens such as Azuki, Chimpers, CryptoPunks, Doodles, Fluffle, Hypurr, Mad Lads, Meebits, Milady Maker, Moonbirds, Pudgy Penguins, Redacted Remilio Babies, Sappy Seals, Solana Monkey Business, and Wassies.
· Recently Active Participants in DAO Governance of Mainstream DeFi Protocols on Ethereum: Referring to users who have recently actively participated in governance decisions of decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) within the Ethereum ecosystem.
The screening of blockchain users is based on snapshot data as of September 30, 2025, at 23:59 (UTC). Some screening criteria are derived from retrospective calculations of several months of data.
Monad Cards Users Also Qualify
The MON airdrop also targets a broader range of cryptocurrency community members, identified through social graph analysis and initiatives like "Monad Cards." The core principle is to filter out genuine cryptocurrency users. While it is impossible to identify every such user, eliminate all "farmers"/bots, and avoid double counting, this airdrop still aims to find those passionate about cryptocurrency and make them stakeholders in the Monad network.
A particularly important component is the "Monad Cards" program. "Monad Cards" is an initiative on Twitter to identify numerous active, thoughtful, and deeply engaged individuals in the cryptocurrency space. Selected individuals are then encouraged to nominate others who are equally deserving of recognition but have not yet been identified. Whether they are the first wave of card recipients, the second wave, or those who forgot to claim their cards, all are included in this airdrop.
Additionally, Monad has included participants from the Legion fundraising platform, Backpack users, Fantasy Top Heroes players, MetaDAO token holders, ARC community members, active participants in the LobsterDAO Telegram group, and well-known Farcaster users.

This airdrop encompasses individuals who have contributed to the development of the cryptocurrency field through security research, protocol development, and educational outreach. Monad has specifically included well-known cryptocurrency detective ZachXBT, members of the SEAL 911 organization, auditors from Cantina who have made significant audit findings, and members of the Protocol Guild identified through the review of Splits contracts.
Furthermore, the airdrop also includes students and instructors from educational programs such as RareSkills and SheFi.
