One should not blame the pain brought by desire on fate itself.

Much of the pain in investing does not come from the market, but from desire itself.

You want to buy at the lowest point, but after you just bought, it drops again. → Pain

You want to fully invest and ride the entire bull market, but you get washed out halfway. → Pain

You want to make 10 times your investment, but in the end, you only get 3 times, feeling that fate is unfair. → Pain

But you feel pain simply because you think you "should" earn more, the market "should" give you opportunities, and "should" replicate the myths of others.

However, the market has never promised these things; it only provides random fluctuations. Desire leads you to have excessive expectations for the results, which inevitably brings disappointment.

In the market, no one is a child abandoned by fate; more often, it is we who are bitten back by our desires.

Have a little less delusion, a little more patience, face your own abilities, earn the wealth you deserve, and losses, missed opportunities, and regrets are, in fact, necessary tuition!
