When I was in Shanghai from 2013 to 2018 before starting my own business, my average monthly salary was around 20,000 CNY. At that time, I had a deep fear that finding a job was already very difficult. I often thought, if one day I suddenly lost my job, what would I do in the future? Would I be able to find a better or similar job?

Because I didn't know, I tried to find some side jobs that wouldn't affect my main job. So even now, I want to remind everyone that if you have a proper job, consider trading cryptocurrencies only while maintaining your main job. Going ALL IN in a risky industry is not the best guarantee.

When I first bought cryptocurrencies, I was still working. Because I didn't have time to operate frequently, I passively became a coin hoarder. Fortunately, I bought $BTC at that time, so my monthly investment feels quite rewarding now. I'm not saying everyone should give up contracts or not participate; that's definitely unrealistic. I also play with contracts, but one must have a sense of risk control.

Not to mention, my monthly investment is actually to show my friends that as an ordinary person, investing 3,000 CNY, which is less than 500 USD, in Bitcoin, which has the least profit, yields nearly 30% returns. Therefore, I think it's fine to use this part of the profit for contracts. Even if I lose everything, I still have next month.

It doesn't affect my principal, and I can continue to maintain my eligibility at the table, which gives me a chance to wait for my luck. I also have the capital to make a big move when luck comes.

Investing is not about who makes the most money today, but about who can survive longer while making money. Contracts and meme coins can easily get you carried away, and I am the same. That's why I need to impose strict discipline on myself. At least for me, it's about accumulating first and then finding my own opportunities. I believe that as long as I am alive and can stay at the table, I will have a chance. I don't require myself to be the most outstanding; I just want to live comfortably.
