Especially for storing large amounts, when using hardware wallets, there are six key points to remember about mnemonic phrase storage—

1️⃣ You must take good care of your mnemonic phrase and check it carefully; it's best to write it down twice to prevent unforeseen circumstances. Make several backups of the mnemonic phrase in safe places, but these backup locations should be separate to prevent the same event (like a fire) from destroying all backups.

2️⃣ You must not be afraid of trouble; regular checks are essential. Especially when storing large amounts, you should do another check before storing, and don't be afraid of the hassle.

3️⃣ I am now planning to use a completely unused phone, which will never be connected to the internet, and I will discard the SIM card. I will use it as a camera to take a picture of the mnemonic phrase and make a backup. This backup should be placed in the safest location you can think of.

4️⃣ The mnemonic phrase should not be stored in electronic form, especially not transmitted over the internet. It is recommended to write down the mnemonic phrase on paper or other physical media, but ensure its safety. For example, the paper storing the mnemonic phrase should be fireproof, waterproof, and resistant to a certain degree of physical damage.

5️⃣ Today, I thought carefully and made a decision. I plan to split the mnemonic phrase into several parts and store them in different physical locations or devices. This can reduce the risk of theft or damage at a single location.

6️⃣ If conditions allow, the storage locations for the mnemonic phrase should be as discreet as possible. You might even consider using cryptographic methods, such as secret sharing, to divide the mnemonic phrase into several parts, which only make sense when combined.
