Previously, I saw some netizens betting on the outcomes of League of Legends matches on Polymarket, making a profit of 80%-100% per match (with my years of experience and confidence in League of Legends, I could also 'pick up money'), so I became obsessed with various emerging prediction platforms. I took the opportunity to search for and summarize recent new prediction market projects that can be played (perhaps the most worthwhile reading on the potential platforms for prediction markets on the internet).

In this issue, I will not introduce well-known projects like Polymarket, Kalshi, and Manifold (recommended reading: “The Evolution of Prediction Markets 2025: From Polymarket Frenzy to Kalshi Compliance and Social Embedded Explosions”), nor will I include those with absurdly high abstract risks, focusing instead on new projects that have potential and can make money.

Since I have found many new projects to explore, I plan to split this into two parts (Part 1 and Part 2) for easier digestion by readers. Today, I will present 9 projects, with the second part to be released later this week, so stay tuned:

Gondor (Prediction Position Lending)

Introduction: Gondor is dedicated to developing DeFi gameplay for prediction market protocols. It has currently launched a lending protocol based on Polymarket positions, allowing users to collateralize long-term prediction event positions on Polymarket to borrow, thereby releasing capital locked in long-term market bets. Its angel round financing received support from Maven 11.

How to Participate: Users can have a 20-minute phone call with Gondor to try out its Beta version and borrow USDC assets corresponding to Polymarket positions.

opinions.fun (Opinion Prediction)

Introduction: opinions.fun is a prediction market platform on Solana, supported by Meteora and Kaito. It essentially transforms opinions into prediction markets. opinions.fun utilizes Kaito's mental share and intelligent engagement to track the most controversial/spreadable opinions on CT. Once these opinions reach a certain level, they are automatically converted into tradable markets. Among them:

Opinion creators: 10% fee

Original authors of the hottest opinions on CT: 10% fee

Participants ranked in the top 25 of the hottest opinions X posts, weighted by mental share: 21.25% fee

opinions.fun is more crypto-native in this recommendation, with the highest proportion of crypto prediction markets.

How to Participate: No permission is required; anyone can publish opinion markets. Creating a market requires paying Solana network fees, with a 2% fee charged on each transaction.

Trepa (Accuracy Prediction)

Introduction: Trepa is a prediction platform based on the Solana ecosystem, which announced the completion of a $420,000 Pre-Seed round financing at the end of August, led by Colosseum (Trepa was also an award-winning project in the consumer application category of the Colosseum hackathon), with participation from Ignight Capital and former Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan among other angel investors.

Unlike other prediction platforms that only offer binary prediction options, Trepa emphasizes prediction accuracy. The higher the accuracy, the greater the reward. For example, the price of a cryptocurrency or the exchange rate between fiat currencies can be presented with more precise numbers.

How to Participate: The BETA version application is now open, and users can join Trepa BETA by simply filling out their information.

Upshot (Novel Gameplay, Early Stage)

Introduction: Upshot is a prediction card protocol, which I believe resembles a card-drawing game. Users can purchase Packs on its platform, which include prediction cards, cash, or other real-world assets, such as tickets or merchandise. The game combines cards, prediction markets, and real-world assets. Each card contains the content of the prediction and the prize, which needs to be claimed.

How to Participate: Upshot is now live on the testnet and has opened a waitlist. Users can fill out their information to join the waitlist via the link in the pinned tweet on its official X account.

Upside (Early Alpha)

Introduction: Upside is a social prediction protocol based on the Base network, supported by Jason Choi and Arthur Hayes from The Spartan Group. This is also the second time I am recommending this project; for project details, refer to: “7 New Projects Worth Noticing Recently

The second recommendation is due to its currently limited prediction content (mostly in the crypto sector) and high win rate, making it a relatively cost-effective prediction protocol.

How to Participate: Obtain an invitation link, or if you want to experience it, you can DM my X account (the king of holding positions) with your wallet address (I will recommend you for entry qualifications to participate in Upside). After obtaining qualifications, logging in with your wallet will grant you corresponding credits, with each credit allowing participation in one prediction. There is a daily prize pool of $1,000, and you can claim credits to participate.

Credit qualifications are: having total assets (USDC, aUSDC, USDT, aUSDT, ETH, wETH) of $1,000 on ETH, Base, Optimism, or Arbitrum to obtain 1 credit, or earn credits through corresponding tasks.

The high win rate is due to the adjustable range of prediction token prices, similar to range trading; the smaller the price range you provide, the greater the reward. After winning, the project will send the corresponding USDC to your wallet the next day. (As shown below)

Participating now is not just about easy gains; early participants may also have the opportunity to qualify for airdrops in the future.

The Clearing Company (Large Financing)

Introduction: The Clearing Company is a prediction market platform founded by former employees of Polymarket and Kalshi. In August, it announced the completion of a $15 million seed round financing, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Compound, and others.

The company's official website shows that Toni Gemayel, who previously served as the growth director at Polymarket and Kalshi, will be the CEO of The Clearing Company. Additionally, the team includes many former Polymarket employees.

Its CEO stated that they will create a permissionless and regulated on-chain prediction protocol, and will also focus on better liquidity to support the prediction protocol. Currently, its official website indicates that there will be sections for sports, entertainment, crypto, politics, and more.

How to Participate: A waitlist was previously opened, requiring email participation, but it is now closed. You can continue to follow for updates or wait for the waitlist to reopen and for project progress.

kash (Alpha Stage)

Introduction: Kash is an innovative social prediction platform based on the Base network and integrated with X. Users can interact with @kash_bot to create and participate in prediction markets directly within the X interface. Its advantages include:

  • No need for a separate platform;
  • AI creates markets in real-time based on X trends;
  • Low entry barrier, no KYC required, non-custodial wallet (automatically generated), with the platform covering transaction fees;
  • Based on Base, ensuring fast and low-cost transactions.

Users only need to visit its website to authorize registration with their X account to join early access and participate in relevant market prediction events.

In terms of security, although the wallet is automatically generated, Kash does not have access to users' wallets; transactions require personal signatures, and login requires an X account, so Kash's security essentially relies on the X platform.

How to Participate:

DM or @kash_bot to get an invitation link, or visit the website to register for early access through X. Then scroll to the bottom of the page to "Get early access to Kash," log in via X, and you can deposit tokens on the Base network into the automatically generated non-custodial wallet through an exchange or wallet. Supported tokens include USDC (deposited ETH, WETH, DAI will be automatically converted to USDC). You can immediately join prediction events with no minimum deposit limit, no lock-up period for withdrawals, and zero gas fees. Prediction event types include cryptocurrency, politics, sports, entertainment, etc., with settlements done in USDC. The deposit and withdrawal methods are also simple and quick.

Additionally, its native token is KASH, and the tokenomics have been announced, clarifying that early participants can receive a total of 4.00% of the token supply as an airdrop. After the token launch, it can be used for governance, staking, and distributing bonuses to users with high prediction win rates. Kash promises to regularly buy back KASH tokens each month (not exceeding 1%).

Melee (Early Testing)

Introduction: Melee is a prediction platform on Solana. According to its official introduction, Melee is a combination of pump.fun and Polymarket, turning predictions into memes. Any user can create a prediction market linked to meme coins. Essentially, it tokenizes attention, allowing users to bet on prediction events while also increasing liquidity and trading through the virality of memes. This effectively addresses the short-term liquidity issues of medium to long-term prediction events, enabling short-term high returns on long-term prediction events, making it worth paying attention to.

How to Participate: Unfortunately, I have only joined the waitlist and have not yet participated in the testing phase, so I have not experienced it firsthand. I will update this article after participating in the testing phase. Users can join the waitlist through its website and stay active on X and TG to join the testing phase as soon as possible. It seems that some testing users have indeed achieved high returns.

Trendle (Attention Economy)

Introduction: Trendle is an early-stage project (the earliest post on its official X account was published on September 5). Its inspiration comes from Vitalik's “Vitalik's New Article: From Prediction Markets to Information Finance,” which evolves from merely predicting yes or no to AttentionFi, or attention finance. Trendle is developing a platform that makes emotions tradable through a transparent, attention-based incentive system, turning attention itself into a marketable asset class.

How to Participate: Its official statement indicates that a closed beta version will be launched soon, so stay tuned. However, the method of trading attention remains a mystery; if it is merely a transaction type like whether ETH will disappear, it is not particularly novel.

Conclusion

This issue of prediction market protocols stops here for now, and the second half will be released soon. I hope everyone can make money through some of these protocols.

Disclaimer: In addition to gameplay, project security or risks should also be prioritized. Participate cautiously and DYOR!
