This trip is probably the longest I've taken since coming to Singapore. I first went to Hong Kong, attended Bitcoin Asia, but unfortunately, the time was too short; I only stayed one night before leaving. Before I left, I was fortunate to learn from a group of old OGs at a coffee shop in Hong Kong. Next, I went to Ho Chi Minh City to prepare for the Vietnam conference with several industry leaders, and then it was off to Taipei, which turned out to be the most touching part of this trip.
I really want to thank @chochou33 Zhou Zhou. Without her, I probably wouldn't have been able to come to Taiwan. There were several times I almost gave up, but Zhou Zhou and Eason @zxcasd12451's team kept helping me with visa issues. Finally, at the last moment, I was able to come. Zhou Zhou knew I wasn't feeling well and arranged the entire itinerary for me, making it super comfortable. I'm very grateful, and I feel a bit embarrassed.
During my trip to Taipei, I visited two venues: one was TBW, and the other was the Mr. Block exhibition. TBW was fantastic, featuring many local and localized projects from Taiwan. It was especially convenient to communicate with Taiwanese friends about compliance, investment, and various trading insights. Moreover, the Taiwanese friends are generally very talkative, sunny, and friendly. I learned a lot about trading strategies and industry perspectives from these friends, especially from many young individuals who provided excellent insights.
Then there was the Mr. Block exhibition. Brother Brain @BrainBroCrypto and Mr. Block @mrblocktw are both teachers I greatly admire. Brother Brain's YouTube channel is very exciting, while Mr. Block has developed a different style that facilitates communication between project parties and users. This is something I shared with my peers, and Mr. Block is also a leader in the cryptocurrency investment field in Taiwan, which has given me a strong desire to find opportunities to hold a Chinese-language exhibition specifically for Mandarin-speaking friends.
Most of the exhibitions I've attended, including Token2049, don't really relate to retail investors; they are more about communication among practitioners. Most friends need to know about investment opportunities, profit-taking and stop-loss opportunities, and chances to interact with traders. I also hope to hear project parties' views on market trends. I really want to organize a summit specifically for the Chinese-speaking market, and I have a lot to learn from Mr. Block in this regard. This was also the original intention of my travels. I discussed this issue with @tiffanylai_ and @Josephine_0xbtc.
In Taiwan, it's probably due to the openness towards cryptocurrency. When people talk about cryptocurrency, it's like discussing stocks. Therefore, there is a large number of excellent sharers in Taiwan. What impressed me the most is that Taiwanese crypto friends don't primarily use Twitter; instead, they use Instagram, YouTube, and Line more. As a result, many sharers present their content in video form. This also leads to many friends revealing their true identities, which is less conducive to wrongdoing. The discussion environment in Taiwan is very good; although there is some gossip, large-scale public disputes are still rare.
What I remember most are two points. One is that the young ladies in Taiwan are all very generous and beautiful. If the young ladies in Singapore and Hong Kong are very capable, and those in Japan and South Korea are shy, while the young ladies in mainland China possess both beauty and intelligence, then the young ladies in Taiwan combine the gentleness of a neighbor's little sister with the elegance and intellect of a university professor. Communicating with them feels like a breath of fresh spring air, and they are very considerate of others' feelings.
The other is Taiwanese cuisine. I specifically went to Ximen Ding and saw a dazzling array of food, eating salt and crispy chicken. At 2 AM, I had Liu Mama's cold noodles, and after midnight, I ordered hot dogs from a food truck. On China Airlines, I had beef noodles and pig ears, and at Zhou Zhou's restaurant, I enjoyed super delicious pies. The friends from #OKX treated me to some safe pizza, and I also had some overpriced barbecue. I saw many dishes I wanted to try, but unfortunately, due to time constraints, I couldn't eat everything I wanted. I hope to have the opportunity to focus on eating when I come to Taiwan next time. I'm also very grateful to @nancy_c813 and @weilin58259960 for the local specialties they sent.
Although it was only five days, this trip to Taipei gave me so many feelings and emotions. I truly didn't expect the enthusiasm of my friends. I have so many names I want to mention, including @Jclub888 @jhaninvest @Arozees @miaomiaoeth @yoaka_ @blockjengirl @Alvin0617 @dajotow @brucelolzz @frankbitget @SaBiBro666 @p3nchan @lc777eth @0xBeyondLee @COMMALLL @billshiou @Marcoisamazing2 @AsunaYuuki0404 @liyinjyun @m302022 @hannaARB2u @sieyaohuei @4acewang @Goldchaueth @ferrating @cashcowseth @zoey9191 @wobule @yangruiku @egyptk6 @yi0411 @BrainX88 @ogkbatu @paul9193 @moonlitislit, etc. There may be some I can't remember, and I'm sorry. I truly didn't expect that so many friends would be willing to support and encourage me. I have no way to repay them, so I can only do my best and output more. I feel ashamed that I haven't interacted with everyone in the comments for several days. This time, I hope to quickly adjust my health and return to the rhythm of interaction, and I also hope to continue providing tweets that satisfy everyone. Thank you.
