No one understands the "marriage of politics and business" better than DWF Labs.
The connection between DWF Labs and the Trump family is much deeper than it appears on the surface.
1/ Investment and Cross-Shareholding Structure
In April 2025, DWF Labs invested $25 million in the Trump family project @worldlibertyfi, while DWF also committed to providing "deep liquidity support" for USD1, effectively becoming the market maker for this stablecoin.
A more critical signal is that WLFI subsequently (in July 2025) made a reverse investment of $10 million into DWF's @FalconStable, which is currently WLFI's only formal external investment.
This "you invest in me, I invest in you" cross-shareholding model essentially constructs a community of interests:
DWF Labs obtains governance tokens through its investment in WLFI, gaining a "marriage certificate" of sorts.
WLFI, by investing in Falcon Finance, deeply binds its stablecoin USD1 to the Falcon ecosystem.
Falcon and WLFI achieve liquidity interconnectivity, forming a stablecoin alliance.
2/ The Essence of the WLFI Project
WLFI appears to be a DeFi protocol, but in reality, it is the Trump family's "printing press":
The Trump business entities hold 60% of WLFI's shares.
The Trump family receives 75% of the token sale revenue.
More critically, WLFI launched its own stablecoin USD1, directly benefiting from the GENIUS Act promoted by Trump.
This "first push for legislation, then profit from it" operational model has been described by The New York Times as "breaking the boundaries between private enterprises and government policy in an unprecedented way."
The timing of DWF's investment is extremely precise:
Timing: After Trump's victory, $WLFI sales skyrocketed from $2.7 million to hundreds of millions.
Geopolitical Layout: DWF simultaneously announced the opening of a new office in New York, officially entering the U.S. market.
Policy Dividend: Riding the wave of Trump's "crypto-friendly" policies.
My judgment is that Falcon Finance has already upgraded from a purely DeFi protocol to a financial infrastructure with political endorsement, and the value of this transformation far exceeds the $25 million investment itself.
