Many people looking at this image might think it's a stock market issue, but if you've been in the crypto space for a while, you'll realize: the crypto world has not only the same structure but is even more brutal.

In this market, small capital players are destined to be on the side of high volatility, high friction, and high uncertainty. You don't qualify to access the primary market, don't understand professional-level arbitrage, and lack the ability to hedge risks.

The only three things you can do are: chase trends, guess sizes, and be a laborer.

So how do large capital players operate?

They participate in pre-sales, in the venture capital rounds before tokens are listed, using their resource advantages to lock in their win rates. Even if the market is losing money, they can find an exit—market-making profits, team tokens, and inter-institutional circulation are all exit channels you can't access.

And how do KOLs operate?

Most rely on narratives to exchange for traffic, using traffic to exchange for tokens. Those lucky enough might hit one or two decent KOL rounds, while those less fortunate not only get free promotional posts but also risk losing money when their invested funds are unlocked.

So are the whales and KOLs really smarter than you? Not necessarily.

It's just that they are slightly ahead of you in terms of resources and capital, which is enough to change the difficulty of the game entirely.

The reality is harsh: the less capital you have, the more you are forced to play the role of a high-risk gambler.

Understanding this, you'll realize that the optimal approach in the crypto space is not to blindly pursue explosive returns, but to prioritize building long-term tokens + structural security.

But the truth is, most retail investors have neither capital, nor resources, nor enough time to establish a secure structure. Without good understanding and luck, that leads to a complete disadvantage.
