I also have some positions in altcoins, so the altcoin season is definitely a good thing for me. I have always hoped for the arrival of the altcoin season. But to be honest, what is really lacking for the emergence of the altcoin season is money. Only with enough overflow funds can the altcoin season have the momentum to rise, and overflow funds often transition from $BTC to $ETH, and then to other altcoins.

The initiation of the altcoin season should start with sector rotation, followed by sufficient liquidity and enough sentiment. Liquidity is especially important. My personal reference standard has always been very clear, which is to benchmark against the Russell 2000. This time, the rise of ETH is still synchronized with the Russell 2000.

If small-cap stocks in the U.S. stock market show a significant breakout, then the altcoin season for small-cap stocks can occur, which would also provide an opportunity for the altcoin season in cryptocurrency. It may still take some time, but the current trend is quite similar to when the altcoin season started in 2021, and there may indeed be an opportunity.
