Hackathon Overview
The ETH Dublin 2025 hackathon has successfully concluded, attracting a total of 84 developers and resulting in 31 projects passing the review. The core of the event was to leverage the technologies of multiple sponsors to create impactful blockchain solutions. Participants were encouraged to form balanced teams with diverse skills, utilizing technological tools and sponsor support—such as Chainlink for data verification, Ledger for security, and Filecoin for storage solutions.
Several projects focused on social impact: ÉireEncrypt is dedicated to developing privacy-protecting blockchain tools that comply with GDPR requirements; SafeRoads Ireland promotes safe driving through smart contracts. Additionally, some projects utilize Ethereum to achieve rent control and a decentralized housing market, while others provide digital solutions themed around immigration to promote community integration, showcasing the potential of blockchain technology in addressing real-world issues such as privacy protection, public safety, and educational reform.
Overall, the ETH Dublin 2025 hackathon not only facilitated collaboration between developers and partners but also inspired numerous innovative projects that create social value through blockchain technology.
