I spent a week at the temple on the mountains of Kathmandu and truly felt the joyful energy of Master Mingjue Rinpoche. He is indeed the happiest person in the world; the penetrating power of his smile can infect everyone in the venue!

He mentioned that each of us inherently possesses a clear nature and does not need to seek anything from the outside. When we cultivate ourselves well, external things will come naturally!

What we often refer to as emptiness does not mean having nothing. Rather, it is about seeing through the fact that there is fundamentally nothing, allowing all things to pass through our relaxation. Yet, people are often afraid of emptiness, unable to attain what they seek, and dissatisfied with their desires, which leads to fear and troubles!

I remember a Zen saying by Huang Tingjian that is quite good: "After all, how many truly get the deer, not knowing they dream of being fish all day long."

It is precisely because of formlessness that it can accommodate myriad forms.

It is precisely because of non-attachment that there are infinite possibilities.

Filling desires will ultimately appear as scarcity.

The valley does not speak, yet it can gather wind and hide beauty.

Let us encourage each other. Soon, I will descend the mountain and return to my country, and everything will return to normal! 🙏
