One is the use of leverage, but I think it's just like what @Guilin_Chen_ said in his post: when everyone is watching, it all seems reasonable, but when it comes to their own situation, if they can use 100x leverage, they won't settle for 50x; if they can use 50x, they won't settle for 20x. Essentially, everyone hopes to make quick money.

During this time, I've seen quite a few signal providers fail. Of course, there are successful ones too, but from the data I've seen, the total loss for those who followed the signals was about 700,000 U, while the signal providers themselves only lost around 10,000 U. For the signal providers, making one mistake might still leave them a chance to start over.

However, for many of the friends who are betting, it could be catastrophic. I've seen screenshots from friends saying that someone in a certain signal provider's group mortgaged their only home to follow the signals, some borrowed from loan sharks, and others believed that following the teacher's signals was a guaranteed profit, even going all-in with everything they had to bet. This might be worse than gambling.

At least with gambling, you are participating yourself, you have a sense of involvement. But when you hand over your entire fortune and life to another person, how can you be so at ease, especially when the signal provider is using high leverage? You can only watch and do nothing.

Of course, this doesn't mean that all signal providers are bad; it's just that if your money and understanding don't match, even if you make money, you might end up giving it all back to the market. There are indeed some excellent signal providers, but they also started from scratch and learned bit by bit. I firmly believe that only by retaining the qualification to stay on the sidelines can one have a chance to win.
