Many #Web3 trading techniques have mostly evolved from traditional finance. The mobile take-profit and stop-loss feature on #OKX is something I frequently use in my personal account. For example, when I go hiking outdoors and might be without internet for a long time, I set a mobile take-profit and stop-loss to better lock in profits and reduce drawdowns!

In my previous experience in the traditional finance industry, I worked in forex for a while, and the commonly used "trailing stop" function is its original reference. Suppose the euro to dollar rises from 1.08 to 1.12, and I set a 200-point pullback protection. As long as the exchange rate does not pull back 200 points, the position continues to be held; once it pulls back, I close the position immediately, perfectly capturing the entire trend profit. This is a very good strategy.

The same applies to the crypto market. For instance, when the price of Bitcoin rises from 80,000 to 110,000 and then pulls back, if you set a 10% pullback trigger, it will only sell when the price pulls back 10% from the current peak (i.e., drops to 99,000). Compared to traditional fixed take-profit and stop-loss, this allows for thousands of dollars more in profit without needing to monitor the market for long periods, giving you more time for research or to do your own things!

Additionally, I want to share a little tip with everyone. In a choppy range-bound market, you can use a composite strategy that combines mobile stop-loss with grid trading. For example, initially set a 3% pullback stop-loss, and for every 10% breakthrough of the previous high, compress the pullback ratio by 1%. This creates a "pyramid strategy" where the higher it goes, the tighter the protection becomes. This strategy has proven effective in sideways markets!

If ordinary take-profit and stop-loss are like fixed sentinels, then mobile take-profit and stop-loss are like smart trackers. Using this feature well will yield twice the result with half the effort! 🧐
